We are home! Left Savannah Georgia at 07:30 wide open for Toombs County! Second radiation treatment done! No side effects. The Lewis Cancer Center in Savannah is not the place you want to be but let me tell you they have treated us like royalty! I am a NURSE and I like customer service in a medical facility. These people are just plain nice people with jam up customer service, with the need to help anyone that comes through the door! Third treatment schedule for tomorrow.
privacy curtains in the infusion area. my mom is uncomfortable with them opening her shirt up with other people sitting around her especially men. she just wished for more privacy.
