I was transferred to Candler from a different hospital in GA as I was told that Candler could & would be able to handle my GI issues much better over the weekend. The RNs, techs, SW, and auxillary staff, thus far, have all been very good, nice and respectful. But the doctors, primarily the GI docs, haven't seemed to really care to listen to what I'm saying, both being very cocky and not readily x freely dealing with my GI issues in a progressive manner. So I am continuing w/ a much lesser & aggressive treatment than I was re... read more
Unfortunately I have to give you a star. What is going on with your rude and inconsiderate ER staff? I give you negative 5. I trust a veterinarian more that I do your staff. And please explain how you can have double beds in an ER, is the hippa law still apply there, a complete breech of confidentiality. After 6 hours sitting there, I now know the medical history of three different people that I didn't want to know.
Nurse Theresa and the staff that worked in the area were Rufus was on the 4th floor was awesome. Thx each and everyone of you for your kindness, friendliness and you being so professional in how you took care of my husband thx you, thx you and thx you again. May the Lord bless each and everyone of you.
I'm in the ER in severe pain and panic attacks but the doctor says I have got to choose what I'm here for this isn't right and it's not right to tell me to choose when I have both things wrong with me he is treat me badly and walked out when I wasn't finished talking this is not how you treat people this doctor has no compassion!
Excellent care... from every floor the nurses worked with kindness and compassion. They made a very scary situation calmer but yet I could see action and fully understood what was being done and why. A special shout out to ER Nurse Terri... you were such a comfort and peace..thank you! Kelly on floor 5 North ... you were the calming queen of knowledge!! You hold that crown because you will bring compassion to a lot of very scared families. YOU HAVE CAME A LONG WAY CANDLER HOSPITAL (since we visited in 2007 )
After being sent there from urgent care they were quick to get me out...2 strong antibiotics and tramadol for pain above the 10 range infection in my upper lip lower nose thanls for the NOT help with pain....im npt an addict but a few good pain meds would surely have help as i sit here in tears still in excruciating pain beyond measure...oh and first time ive been to er in many uears
Well so far other than the nurse on the 4th floor north wing not telling us our dad was in his room after his surgery. Things have been ok. We shall see in the coming days. Still nervous about my dad being in this hospital. Not so good memories. My grandmother passed in this hospital. I may change my rating after he leaves.
Great staff very caring and had an overall good experience there they moved quickly to help me
