I hired Nance & Underwood for a custom modification to my boat’s bowsprit, specifically to adjust the setup so that the bobstays/whiskers could be tensioned with Dyneema and clutches. Unfortunately, their work was substandard. A few months later, the bowsprit snapped right at their drilled holes [refer pictures]. Honorable people. They honored a fault in the design of my bow sprit whisker system. Their ability to communicate was not ideal, but that was the most difficult aspect of dealing with them, but for the rest, I can recommend them with confidence, especially because they remained honorable and sorted the issue. I have yet to mount the replacement whiskers

Not at all satisfied with this company. I have a large catamaran. Every time they have worked on my rigging, the repair breaks the next use. Not just one item. Lazy jacks, main halyard, topping lift - none of them worked after N&U worked on them. Parts fly off while under sail or the new lines break again And I usually get stuck somewhere in Bahamas or somewhere at night.
