I've been getting my nails done for over 20 years and then I go through phases where I don't get my nails done because I still haven't found the right place where I feel comfortable. And that's a comfortable environment, comfortable saying exactly what I want or telling them if something's wrong or if I don't necessarily like it. Lee did a fantastic job! I haven't had a pedicure in a while and she spent extra time and effort! And she is so sweet 🥰 The salon is is much more affordable then so many others.
I also want to report that I felt dismissed and treated unfairly by the owner, the owner’s husband, and Ryan, the nail technician who worked on my nails. Based on my experience, I felt I was treated very differently because I am African-American. When I tried to address the poor quality of the nail service and have the issue corrected, I did not feel listened to, respected, or given the same care that every paying customer should receive. I am honestly so disappointed with my experience. I came in to get a basic French set done before leaving for vacation, and my nails were messed up the first time by Ryan. I had to come back the same day to have them fixed. The second lady who helped me was very kind and did the best she could, and I have nothing against her at all. She cleaned them up and repainted them, but the problem is the original work was not fully taken off and redone correctly.
