I really wanted to like Nails West, but the experience was not what I hoped for. They advertise as kids friendly, so we went in for my daughter’s 8th bday with a group of 7 (4 adults, 3 kids). We wanted the kids’ mani/pedi for the 3 kids with us (ages 2, 5, and 8). I was helping with the 2 year old and a baby that was with us and next thing I know, I look over and they had put shellac on the 5 and 8 year old’s toes. This is my favorite place to get a pedicure in Salem. The technicians are all wonderful and I really like the environment in the salon.

Being new to the area, I was looking for a quality nail salon. I’ve visited twice. Once for a fill and once for a deluxe pedicure. I had a scheduled appointment for both, which I am grateful for. I think if I had tried to get a walk in, I likely would not have had been able to have the service. We did not have a shared language on the type of service I wanted for my fill, but in the end, I was happy with the way my nails turned out.
