I got a mani/ pedi by Matt and I've never had a pedicure hurt and not to mention my nail polish is already chiping and they were done yesterday!! My manicure was horrible he cut me numerous times and left me bleeding! Then his regular customer came in so he hurried faster and told me just get clear on my finger nails ! The massage was fast as well. For 50 bucks I'll never go back or recommend them

I would not recommend this place to other women in Virginia Beach. My friend and I both visited in December 2011. I received a mani/pedi with a request for shellac on my mani. The gentleman who did my services left me bleeding on both the pedi and the mani. This was my first time doing shellac on my nails. He told me many times that there was no guarantee on how long it would last, even though others claim it will last upwards of four weeks. I invited my sister to get a manicure pedicure for her birthday. Overall, not impressed. I gave Nails R Us 3 gold stars because the spa pedicure ($57) was very good. I'd tell my friend to go for this service. It's by far the most thorough massage and treatment I've ever experienced. Also, the french manicure on my toes didn't look bad either. This place is by far the worst place I have ever been to! I came in Saturday afternoon and they made me feel like I was the dirt on the bottom of my shoe. I told the guy that I wanted a full set regular acrylic and not to make them too long because I need to be able to type. Well I asked him to trim them and you would have thought with the way he was acting that I asked him for a million dollars. My mother-in-law, my 6 year old and myself went to get mani/pedi's at Nails "R" Us. We were celebrating my daughters 6th birthday. It was her first time and she loved it! She's asked me many times already when we can go back. The place is very clean, they did and awesome job on me an my mother-in-law. They are very friendly and nice people. I'll be going there from now on! I'm glad I finally found a nail salon that I feel comfortable taking my 6 year old to. Thanks Matt and the whole team there. You're awesome!

I've gotten my nails done in many nail salons and this one is by far the best experience I've had. I've been going to Nails R Us since October and I hate to say I'm leaving the area and wish I could take them with me! Upon first entering the shop, I found it to be very clean, aesthetically pleasing, modern, and comfy. I decided to get the pink and white gel nails but thought the pink looked too pink on my hands. When it just opened I went there for a full set gel because it was right by my house. I called them and ask if it was ok to come in at about 6 - 6.15pm (they close at 7), he said it was totally fine. So I came in that night and Matt was the one that took care of me. Well.. I felt like all he wanted is to get me out of there as soon as possible, my nails weren't really finished when he was "done", he didn't want to give me their 20% "grand opening discount" AND charged me $5 more than the price that was on their price list!! ... read more

WOW! I went in for a pedicure and a full set. Matt and his staff took great care of me and my nails look great. Salon is very clean and attractive. I would deifinitely recommend them!!
