You know how so many women are quitting going to the nail salon because they feel like there are a ton of hidden costs and they aren't happy with the service? Thats how I feel about my experience here. This place was recommended to me but it was one of my least favorite nail salon experiences I have had in Brooklyn / NYC.
I’ve been going to Nails Mantra for years. The service has been hit or miss but what pushed me to decide to no longer go there is the manager insisting my gel manicure (which I was having removed) done in Montreal was much stronger and required more soaking time, and I should, therefore, get a pedicure. Since when is Canadian Opi stronger than American Opi? Why give me a ridiculous reason for doing a pedicure when I knew I was headed to a colder climate where my toes would not be exposed and I didn’t have the time? Rather th... read more
Terrible experience. I went to get my nails done today, asked to not reduce length of nails at all, the girl who did it was so unexperienced and reduced length and not only that but she filed the nail to one side, completely assymetric. It was so bad, she handed me over the file for me to do it myself. When I expressed how upset I was the other girl said long nails break and she tried doing it herelf.
