Bad experience. Poor communication. I was a walk-in hr before closing for a pedicure. Instead of letting me know that the service could not be completed before closing or to offer be a different service. These grown adult women in a service job decided to talk about in a different language. So unprofessional never again. They also didn't inform be the type of polish I picked was an upcharge and didn't do anything to rectify the situation. Sam was wonderful! Took off my acrylic nails with patience and was gentle.
Never in my life have I ever had a nail appointment, checked in on time, watched multiple people have their services completed and leave only to be completely ignored for 30+ minutes waiting. Ended up walking out! It doesn't take much to check in on people waiting and apologize for the extra time or let people know that it's going to be a bit longer before the service.
Giving the business 1 star for doing a decent gel manicure, however, the level of service we received was pathetic. I selected this place for its positive reviews and ratings and was really disappointed and irritated to receive the level of disregard of our time. I made an appointment 3 days prior to our visit and was told the time is good. They took our name and number down. Always have an amazing experience here. The staff is super nice and welcoming, and are very good at what they do. I typically only get pedicures, but today I was blown away with the manicure I got. My nail tech was super talented! I don’t remember if his name was Gary, or Henry, but he did absolutely amazing. The shape was flawless, best manicure I’ve ever gotten in Folsom. Super happy with this place as always! :)
