Will absolutely be back! The nail designs here are so fresh and original — way more creative than the basic sets you get at most salons around here. My technician was so patient and detail-oriented, never rushed through my appointment even when I requested a few tweaks to the art and shape. My nails came out flawless, I’m obsessed.
I tried time and time again to give this Nail lab location a chance. I am never satisfied. I originally went to the location in Oak lawn, never had a problem absolutely love that location. The Mattson locations is just as nice but the service sucks. It seem like they send all the inexperienced tech to this location. I have frequent this location trying to give them a chance because its closer to my home. Seriously, I would not recommend, its like giving away your money and when you complain they look at you like you crazy.
I was about to pick a light nude I saw online, and my tech straight up told me it would wash me out, then pulled 3 warm caramel shades to swatch on my hand first. Ended up with the perfect color — so glossy and rich, actually compliments my skin instead of looking chalky. Cuticles were done super gentle, no pinching, no soreness the next day. Hands down the best nail salon around. As a Black woman, I’m so used to nudes looking ashy on my skin, but my tech picked the perfect warm caramel shade that actually flatters deep skin. The almond shape is clean and even, cuticles were done gently, and my gel set still looks flawless three weeks later with zero chipping. No pushy upsells, fair prices, super clean shop. Already booked my next appointment — 10/10 recommend.
