They charged $20 just for the French tip on top of the $35 pedicure — $55 total for a BASIC pedicure, which is what I usually pay for gel elsewhere. They also added a $3 fee for paying by card… oh and I was even charged extra to fix a nail I smudged because it wasn’t fully dry yet. Tipping felt a bit forced (I always tip, but still). The nail tech was nice, but overall, it felt overpriced. I wouldn’t go back.

I just feel ripped off. $88 just for my already dipped powder nails. I usually go to my regular spots in the South Bay, where I pay around $45 for a fill with gel. I don’t get why they charged $25 just to remove the gel. I only came in for a powder fill. My usual place just buffs off the gel, but here they used some solution that took about five minutes to remove the gel and to then finally buff it off. Plus, I didn’t even get a full manicure. They didn't clean my cuticles or underneath my nails. My nail wasn't really buffed... read more

I’ve been a loyal customer at Nail It Salon for three years, but after my recent experience, I’m completely done. My husband gave me a $150 gift certificate for Christmas. I used $80, and an employee wrote the remaining $70 balance on one of their business cards — their idea, not mine. When I returned to use it, they flat-out refused to honor it. No refund, no apology, and no accountability, even though the mistake was entirely on their end. It’s clear the salon has gone downhill. There are lots of new, inexperienced technic... read more
