Don’t do it! They should not be allowed to give pedicures. She dug so deep into my toe she gave up with the clippers and PULLED what was left of the hangnail she created. Didn’t bother to even file any rough edges she left behind (see pic of ONE example). Most painful and miserable pedi ever. And certainly not the friendliest!

Edit: I added photos of my scabs which came from the lady trimming off my skin. Because of my pain and, yes, chipping only three days later, I’m changing my rating to 1 star. Worst manicure and manicure experience I have ever had. The lady trimmed off so much of my skin (way more than just cuticle) to where I bled on three fingers. When I asked her to stop, I don’t believe she understood me, and kept going. She poured the worst stinging alcohol over the open wounds without warning me! The man is so nice and knows what he doing , but the lady is rude and very mean . Oh and I had to pay cash which they was rude about that as well . My other nail shop was packed and took my daughter here for her birthday . My daughter was so upset because I bragged about my first experience, but I didn’t have the same person a year ago .

I typically get my nails done in New Orleans or Metairie but was hoping to have a quick Destrehan option. This is not the place for me and I literally left without having my nails finished. They told me they do not have OPI gel polish despite seeing several bottles of it on the wall behind their desk and gave me one small ring sample of gel colors which wasn't great and of only one brand which I have historically found to not be a great product.
