Yuck! This place had over 4 stars and for some reason most nail places in Charlottesville don’t have great reviews. I had expectations for a relaxing pedicure. When I walked in the lady was unfriendly and hesitant to take me without an appointment, yet they were not busy. The girl who did my “pedicure” was wearing pajamas, looked to be nearly 16, and it was evident she had no formal training. From start to finish the pedicure lasted 25 minutes. Loved my experience here. Nail tech was very patient and took the time with every detail. I got Fresh acrylic manicure and her technique and way of prepping the nail was amazing. Salon is peaceful and did not feel rushed in both my manicure and pedicure. Will definitely be back to see van. Only negative i have to say is the location but don’t let that fool you! My sister got design on her nails and was also don’t very well.

They do an excellent job with dip on natural nails! I’ve been really happy with the designs, too. Brought in a design today and Rose & Van did a beautiful job.

They did a great job! Dip polish on natural nails (after taking off last dip polish) + designs on 6 nails only took 1 hr. I’m really happy with the attention to detail and quality of the work. I’ll definitely go back with more nail art requests!

I had a fantastic pedicure by Thian! He is technically brilliant and the massage was luxurious. I won’t go anywhere else.
