Dr. Jean seems awesome; I have only saw her once. What makes doctor's offices hard to deal with is the medical assistant staff. The lack of professionalism and proper bedside manner is so off putting. There is no regard to how going to the doctor for some of us is anxiety provoking and we all carry different abilities and understanding. Yet, I feel like I'm being treated poorly by people that really would rather work somewhere else...I'm hoping that my next experience with this team is better than the first!
Dr. Jean is an exceptional OB-GYN with outstanding bedside manners. She creates such a welcoming environment during every appointment and ensures her patients feel heard, respected, and cared for. She takes the time to answer questions thoroughly, provides clear explanations, and never makes you feel rushed. The doctor is very nice, she listens to your concerns and gives advice and ordered testing. I got my lab test results the same week and she messaged me about it. There was a 45 minute wait for my appointment and only 2 staff in the front. They looked like they were overworked. My 2 stars is because the office ignored my 3 portal messages and my one phone call over a span of 3 weeks about my ultrasound results, which is surprising since they were so responsive at the beginning. I stayed with Dr. Jean for a year and in that year, she took me off my pills which then caused a lot of issues for me and I suffered for a good form months. She is always busy, is difficult to get a hold of anyone at the office, even when they wanted to communicate with me they did so by snail mail instead of contacting me via my cell phone, which is what you do in 2025. Do not go to her. She is incompetent..
I will leave ZERO if I could. Dr. Jean is ok., but her office staff is so bad. They do not make you feel welcome at all. They make you wait for very long ( 1-2hrs) even thought you have an appointment.
