The doctor is very nice, she listens to your concerns and gives advice and ordered testing. I got my lab test results the same week and she messaged me about it. There was a 45 minute wait for my appointment and only 2 staff in the front. They looked like they were overworked. My 2 stars is because the office ignored my 3 portal messages and my one phone call over a span of 3 weeks about my ultrasound results, which is surprising since they were so responsive at the beginning. I stayed with Dr. Jean for a year and in that year, she took me off my pills which then caused a lot of issues for me and I suffered for a good form months. She is always busy, is difficult to get a hold of anyone at the office, even when they wanted to communicate with me they did so by snail mail instead of contacting me via my cell phone, which is what you do in 2025. Do not go to her. She is incompetent..
I will leave ZERO if I could. Dr. Jean is ok., but her office staff is so bad. They do not make you feel welcome at all. They make you wait for very long ( 1-2hrs) even thought you have an appointment.
I am so grateful to have found Dr. Jean! She and her team are amazing! Dr. Jean has an exceptional bedside manner, she’s calm, compassionate, and takes the time to explain everything clearly. I always feel genuinely cared for whether it’s a regular check up or more recently, with surgery. She is gentle, attentive, and makes sure I am comfortable every step of the way. Would leave zero stars if I could. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this doctor, office, or maternity unit to anyone. I have heard so many great things about Dr. Jean but I was not treated with any kind of care or compassion. Both Dr. Jean and Dr. Cooper ignored and dismissed clear signs of pre-eclampsia for months. By the time I finally took myself to the hospital, the in hospital doctor was shocked that my blood pressure was in the 200’s, liver levels in the 300’s, and my kidneys were not functioning.
