Dr. Chigurupati is not a very personable person. She rushes you out of her office and doesn't give you time to ask questions. And every time PFT's were done, there was always problems with the equipment malfunctioning. She does not have adequate diagnostic equipment in her practice to perform pulmonary function tests. She has a gruff manner which I could easily overlook if i felt like I was getting good care. Her office environs look shabby. It's just not a situation that inspires confidence in care. She was very quick to get rid of me without explaining much. She basically said "Insurance won't cover a cpap for 5 events per hour, get out". Glad I could pay the $60 copay so she could turn me away after 2 minutes.
Dr Chigurupati has a wonderful, calm and caring approach to care and patient attention. From the time you walk into the office, you feel immediately cared for, concerns addressed and accessible for questions and medical needs. Fantastic experience
My husband has COPD and Dr. Chirgurupati addresses his needs and concerns, she listens and explains things to us in a way that we understand and she cares about whats going on with him. She makes sure to keep up on routine test and medicines anbd makes sure to explain test results.n She was there to help us when our PC doctor would not, and makes sure to get my husband the equipment and medicine that works the best and fits his needs.
