On my most recent visit, Dr. Sanford advised me that my colonoscopy was clear and to return in five years. After approximately 18 months, I experienced a GI bleed requiring an ER visit followed by an ambulance ride to Kennestone for emergency surgery. Following several days in ICU, I was released. I left her practice. I had a colonoscopy where she stated no problem. I was advised to return in 5 years. However, 17 months later I experienced an intestinal bleed requiring emergency surgery followed by several days in the ICU at Kennestone. My surgeon admitted the problem I had should have been found during my colonoscopy. One-half million dollars later and monthly payments have left me a little disgruntled as you might imagine. I was there for a follow up after a procedure the previous week. I was greeted by the front desk with a smiling face. After a short wait I was taken to a room the see the doctor. I was in there for just a few minutes when the doctor arrived. She was able to answer all my questions and suggest the next path to follow. I was also able to make an appointment for my wife with Dr. Sanford. The doctor personally arrangement the appointment. Every time I come here I'm treated with respect and smiling faces.
