Highly recommend. I saw Dr. Iqbal after having several strokes, one fairly serious. Other neurologists had changed medications, but I continued to have problems. Asked medical friends for a referral and am so glad I did! Dr. Iqbal had reviewed my complex medical history before my appointment and was able to talk about what had been tried in the past. He flagged that a test I?d taken had been used to see if aspirin was good to use as part of my regimen, but the test actually measures for reactivity to another medication. He t... read more

I really liked him at first and appreciated he open time for me to come in and explain everything when diagnosed with ms. But after awhile that stopped, he makes me feel everything is in my head. He tells me its all my anxiety every time i see him and doesn't understand how my ms symptoms greatly affect me. Him and his care team told me i cannot message anymore unless its an emergency so i am left without hope until i see a new ms specialist in November. I haven't had to see many doctors and hardly ever had to go to urgent c... read more

It started out great - they were able to help me obtain a lifechanging medication that stopped my migraines for the first time in a decade. I was functioning again, and over the moon! What they didn't tell me was that my insurance only approved me for a 90 day supply, and that Dr Iqbal and his staff would have to check in with them before that point. Well. They declined to share that information with me. And it's now been 90 days. And I'm completely out with no way to fix the situation. My insurance has called them repeatedl... read more

Doctor told me everything was on my head. My headaches and vision problems were on my head . Luckily another doctor did a lumbar puncture and I have high openings pressure and I have to do a shunt. I really hope he stop working as a neurologist. Doctors should help people. He is horrendous person.

I have been a patient of this Doctor for going on 10 years. Despite obvious changes and ongoing decline for many months straight, he insists it is a migraine headache and will not listen to my new symptoms, and will do no further testing to rule out other neurological conditions nor offer advice or adjust therapies to help me function if it is an unheard of 3-month long migraine. There is no help here unless you have a clear-cut, very basic problem that can be solved in the 5 minutes spent in the room with you. If you just n... read more

They did not let us know that they are now only allowing 1 caregiver into the visit, so one of us had to sit outside during an excessive heat warning to talk on speaker phone. The doctor was also 1 hour late, it seemed because another patient arrived early for her appointment and they gave her our time slot. Finally, Dr. Iqbal seemed dismissive of our concerns, said there was no change since a previous visit, when in fact there has been considerable change in the last 3 weeks. I do not recommend this clinic or neurologist.

He didn't explain my condition, he was dismissive of my interpretation, he was very rushed and there was virtually no conversation.

No apology for two hour wait. Seemed arrogant. Shrugged off questions. Quick exam, ordered tests, said come back in month. Said he would call next day. Did not hear back. Left several messages to no avail. His staff was very helpful.

Dr Iqbal has been treating my seizure disorder for over 6 years, and is highly competent, and listens to my concerns during every visit and patiently explains and answers my questions. I would recommend him to anyone who may or may think they have a neurological disorder.
