Been seeing Dr Kamel for over a year. Listens to what I have to say. Doesn’t push his opinion on you. I like it because he phases things so that you can understand. Looks through my records and lets me know what tests i need and schedules them accordingly. I am very satisfied with the way he is as a doctor

My mother started seeing Dr Kamel after her own doctor of 21 years left her practice. Extremely disappointed is the only thing I can say about the whole experience. My mother has chronic pain, and was made to sign a medication contract that included telling the doctor if she thought her pain was not being managed well with current medication, and understanding that she'd need to call in for her medication refill every month, and to call early if the refill date fell on a weekend of a holiday. I was pushed to this doctor when my long-term doctor moved out of state. My health has been destroyed. My medications are not filled promptly as his office does not call them in to the pharmacy. This doctor's office literally does nothing to improve a patient's health. For years, I have not even had an annual physical exam.
The visits are not directly the problem. Although I feel as though Dr. Kamel's effort to understand his patients is low. My 72 year old mother has chronic pain, managed by pain medication. My mother's brother passed recently and she took a pill and a half for some of her doses during the 2 weeks we were back and forth to K c. dealing with that My mom told me she was gonna run out 2 days early and asked if she should call and ask for an early fill . After being hospitalized a lot as I’ve grown older. Dr Kamel is just a person who takes your vitals. His interest is low
My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Kamel for the last couple of years. Over that time I would rate him as OK.with A very good staff. My wife has been having severe mental problems over the last few months. He has been well aware of that. I was frustrated about several things.I had a short meeting with him that was somewhat heated. He did not offer me understanding, kindness or a pep talk or anything doctors used to do. He only told me to find another Dr. thanks doc
