This is the most amazing dr. I’ve ever met. I’ve never met a Dr. that showed so much care in his patients and pride in his work. He is so patient and understanding. He actually takes the time to explain things slowly and in a manner that is understandable to everyone, you can see how much he loves his job. When I met him it was like a kid in a candy store. Staff has been excellent and has treated me very well. Compared to other hospital these guys found out what was wrong right away and has addressed my issue! Highly recommend anybody to Henry ford urology!
Dr. Shakir truly went above and beyond in caring for my grandmother during a very critical time in her life. He performed a remarkable reconstructive surgery on her kidney after a severe obstruction, and his expertise and thoughtful decision making played a huge role in saving her life. As someone seeking affirming, specialized care, I cannot recommend Dr. Shakir and his team highly enough. From the first visit through my follow-ups, I felt listened to, respected, and genuinely cared for. He provided thoughtful, compassionate care, and is extremely skilled. I'm incredibly happy with my results. He and his team made a potentially overwhelming process feel manageable, and I'm deeply grateful for the care I received.
Dr. Shakir is an amazing doctor who goes the extra mile for his patients. He would always answer all of my questions in a timely manner and help me solve problems quickly without having to wait a long time between appointments to get information. He is also very kind and considerate of his patients. Would definitely recommend :)
