they checked our ID when my friend used credit card to pay, i asked why, they said: oh, all the jewelers here ask for ID. (oh yeah?) I hope it’s not because we look Chinese (we are not), or this store has serious racism issue. then we went to another jewelry store in the mall to purchase some jewelry, more than $2000, they didn’t ask for ID when my friend used her credit card. so we went back and returned the goods, they don’t deserve our money.
Spent money in here and the vibe was very weird.
I bought a plumeria collection of gold/diamond stud earrings in Hawaii a couple months ago. A very beautiful earring, however the clasps of both ear rings fell at the same time while I was swimming in the pool. Thankfully, I was able to find the earrings and one of the clasps. The clasp that I found basically "crumbled" in my hand while I was trying to figure out how it had happened. I have never had such an experience even with my cheap earring clasps. My experience was in Maui, excellent customer service; not sure if this part of the island survived the fire.
