I purchased the original compact holster today for my Springfield xd mod 2 9mm over the professional model due to price and also versatility to use with other comparable handguns. I must confess though this is my first conceal carry holster I've ever purchased so I can't compare but I love it. I first bought a professional holster for my Sig P938 over a yr ago and love it. About 8 months ago I bought a professional holster for my duty weapon FN FNS 9mm. This is the most comfortable holster for everyday wear.
it is the most comfortable holster I've ever had I wish they would make the professional holster for the solo 9mm
I have been carrying an xds 9mm in a typical 2 clip hybrid holster made by a quality company. I could carry for a few hours until it became very uncomfortable. The reason it is so uncomfortable is because of the grip constantly rubbing me. I always knew I had the gun on my side and always felt the weight. I would carry at 4 o'clock. Have a problem drawing my gun from the holster. Called them and they called back leaving a message. I called back the next day and I haven't received a call back since.

I have 8 different brands of holsters, and have never been comfortable with any of them. Finally I've found the perfect fit and comfort. I was given a N82 tactical original for my Birthday and it's the perfect holster. Wish I'd gotten one years ago would have saved me alot of money and discomfort Thanks N82 tactical
