Great experience even though I had never donated platelets before. Staff was respectful, conscientious and available. A definite recommend if you care to donate blood.
I had such a wonderful experience donating blood here! From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. Krystal made my intake process smooth and easy, and Marissa (Melissa) was absolutely amazing during my blood donation. She was gentle, professional, and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process. I have NO complaints about personnel and location. Everyone was very attentive and professional. MY problem is with donating and being informed about the risks :/ I have always donated as being " the universal donor" I felt almost obligated to do so. Where the issue lies, is I have donated as often as possible which is every 3 months. Come to find out from my doctor ..... that is why I have become anemic ! I have given my iron away and it is harder to replenish it, then to deplete it ? I was never informed of this risk, even... read more
