I have been seeing dr.rafiq for a while now. I'd say overall hes a good dr. However I have to switch because he doesnt work fridays. It seems like everytime my meds seem to "not work"" I want to notice" on , yup! You guessed it a Friday! So.. i have to wait until monday to get him to tell me to keep with anything i changed over the weekend to make my situation bearable until he can see me next. Which never is unbareable. I received a referral to this business and had no choice to change. My first session, they wanted to immediately start me on meds, without hardly speaking to me. I stopped the clinician at that point, and asked why she suspected that would do anything for me after only knowing me for 5 minutes. She didn't seem to really be interested in helping me, as much as she felt the need to give me pills and get me out the door ASAP. It was an annoying situation, but I went with it. This review is for Matthew Neverusky, who is by far the most unprofessional service professional I have ever encountered. When I arrived to the office, he walked right by me and opened the door, expecting me to come in. Well, that's great if I was not a first time patient, but I expected to be greeted, and invited into his office. He did not shake my hand or offer me his name. Small office but comfortable. Dr. Rafiq really cares about my situation and he has great solutions to my problem. I recommend this psychiatrist for any adult or child.
