When I came in, I only wanted to be checked, I was terrified of having another baby at myrtue. My first labor and delivery back in 2020 was literally the worst experience of my life, 40 hours of labor 3 hours of pushing, and the dr asking the nurses about the correct procedures, he got annoyed with me, (we are alone due to covid, and were bot first time parents) to have both of our bps drop dangerously low and go in for an emergency c-section. The Birthing Center was absolutely wonderful. From the spacious room to the amazing care by my docotor and nurses, I loved every single thing about my experience. The bathroom was perfect for showering during contractions and was easy to get in and out of after I delivered. The bed was super comfortable and I actually missed it once I got home because I didn't have the button to sit myself up when needed. 100% would recommend MMC Birthing Center. Huge kudos to Dr. Kelly Anderson and Lanette during my labor and to Liz for my care after birth! Our birth experience was great and everything was even better than I imagined it would be!
