It's always a joy to visit Myrtle Beach. Love the beach, the boardwalk and there's always a visit to Friendly's for ice cream!!!
I love the Boardwalk! My family and I go to Myrtle Beach Several times a year! Such a family orientated place. Affordable too! Sure some things cost more, that's bcuz it's a tourist destination, but you can definitely have fun if you're on a budget!
The beach was nice, great for swimming. However, when evening hits get away. The area becomes sketchy at best. Drunks looking for trouble. Every jacked up pick up truck is in ever corner with people getting rude and crude. Spoke to a lot of locals that said this is not the place to be unless you want to drink and get in trouble. Also, filled me in on the multiple assaults, stabbing and shootings at night. Love the ocean, but will never go here again. I have to say SC beach areas are better and very close.
