Cheap but you get what you paid for. Decent gel removal but nail shaping and French tip is not symmetrical on two sides of the same finger and nails are not the same length on both hands. Manicurist was very clearly annoyed when I asked to change base colour. Base colour was only a single coat so top of the nails (close to the cuticle) are patchy and see through, but given her constant heavy exhales and snappy responses I didn’t and try ask for a second coat. Visited for SNS Coffin shaped. I visited this nail salon by chance, it had all 5star reviews so I figured it would be absolutely amazing.. I'm not local, and I usually would wait till I got home to get my nails done, but I needed some TLC. The first red flag was the little "leave a 5star review for a $10 discount" where you sit down. I get SNS, I don't get tips because my nails are naturally long, and I said I'd like them coffin shaped because of how my nails grow. Made a last minute walk in appointment to secure a cracked nail and received wonderful and speedy service from Amber, no wait time and a beautiful job. The studio was fresh and clean, had almost no chemical/polish smell and was a lovely experience overall!
Warning. Not real SNS. First time I went nails were thick a two broke. Second time they are so thick and my quick was filed with Dremel again and is now infected to the point of requiring antibiotics. 2 nails broke first time within 2 weeks. This time one within 4 days. Left hand was ‘cooked’ 5 times Right twice. No fan drying between layers. They fact you can’t wash you hands in this salon should have been enough warning for me.
I joined Myri Studio for their opening event! The store looks cozy and the nail techs were so welcoming. Got a shellac service done and they took extra care of my nails. Great impression on them so far and will definitely be coming back!
