Was recommended as a good psych dealing with adolescents with eating disorders. From the initial visit, after daughter was discharged from eating disorder program, she saw Dr. Fernando as and outpaitent. The program doctor could never get a hold of her to discuss patient transfer and history. Dropped her medication right away and continued to do so after each visit. Dr. Fernando is an excellent doctor and therapist. She helped me figure out what I needed and was extremely understanding while doing so. Would recommend to anyone in search for a psychiatrist who wants to help.
