Catherine's skill and thoroughness with our teenage son's exam and therapy brought to light a serious diagnosis that had been overlooked for many years. We are so appreciative and grateful to have found her.
We have had a wonderful experience working with Catherine at Myoga Speech. She is an excellent speech pathologist who focuses on the whole child, not just correct pronunciation. After years of traditional speech therapy with no improvement for my son, we were referred to Myoga Speech by his dentist. I am so glad we were referred! Shortly after starting at Myoga, Catherine recommended he be evaluated by an orthodontist for a narrow pallet that she noticed. When we saw the orthodontist, he said if we had waited until middle school or braces, my son would have been looking at 4 premolar extractions! I can not say enough kind words about Catherine! Her knowledge, therapy techniques and ability to connect with the child to help them master whatever speech difficulties they are experiencing is beyond impressive. She is someone who genuinely wants and tries to help her patients succeed-and she doesn’t drag out therapy either. She will only recommend they continue therapy if she feels it’s necessary. I truly can not recommend her enough!
