I have always received excellent care here! ER, labs, surgery, all of it! The ER staff is especially amazing!
So back in March I was transferred from Mt. Pleasant to Midland because they had an MRI tech working there while M.P did not have one that night. First off I went to the Er in MP because it had been nearly 20 hours since the last time I had urinated. I drove myself to MP ER and walked myself in. They were worried something was wrong with my spine (as I do have disc issues). I need to have a catheter put in as I was full of pee. I just had no sensation or feeling to go. Didn't even feel full. Our husband, father grandfather was admitted to the ICU on June 10th and sadly passed away on the 28th of June. We had a mostly great experience. The doctors, pulmonary and PA'S were very efficient and willing to talk to us and explain things to each of us. There were three very special nurses whom were more Angels than medical professionals. My grandpa was transferred here from the Alma location. Words cannot convey the deep appreciation I have for everyone, especially Zach (who works on the fourth floor) for taking such wonderful and compassionate care of my grandpa in his, sudden and short, stay. I been here for a week almost and today have been crying in pain and have these doctors saying they aren't going to change my pain meds so please tell me what the sense of them supposed to keep your pain under control and make you comfortable because they are not doing neither🤬
