LOOOOOVE their food! Always fresh and amazing! Family owned and operated. Nothing on the menu I haven't liked!
The food is good. The atmosphere is a bit institutional. It has always been clean, just not very warm or inviting. They serve everything in foam containers. We showed up @ 8pm on Saturday & they were just locking the doors. They close @8pm everyday, even tho it says 9pm on Saturdays on Yellow pages. HOWEVER they opened the door and allowed us to get the Gyros we were wanting. I thought that was very nice!
The food is Mediterranean (the first for Wausau proper), so that's great! I wish they'd serve on decent dinner ware ( vs Styrofoam plate, Styrofoam for my hot tea & plastic). Yikes! Decide if you're going to be fast food or a restaurant, then buy a dishwasher and use decent plates, cups, utensils. Your business would become much more attractive. Oh, get a salad spinner to dry the washed lettuce, so the inch of water could be eliminated and the dressing wouldn't be diluted.
