Never in my life have I ever felt so degraded when simply trying to get an eye exam. From the moment my visit began I was met with degrading comments. I was flat out told I did not have coverage when I have not 1 but 2 insurances, told I would have to pay $149 out of pocket for a “fitting” then once I negated it I was met with “oh no you do have an allowance but it probably won’t cover much”.
