TLDR: Doctors are great. Staff is horrible. They will mess up your order, argue with you that they didn’t, hang up the phone on you and laugh in your face. Valentina is the worst of all. And if you’re wondering why there are so many positive reviews mentioning her it’s because she is very sweet when ordering and writes her name on review cards pretty much begging for reviews. Dr. Merry Gindorf is a fantastic, kind doctor who has helped me to slow down the worsening nearsidedness of my eyes. However, the staff at this locati... read more

I would not recommend Doctor Butterworth! Asa result of breast cancer and radiation, I went to him to even out both breasts in size. I needed to have one breast increased. He told me he would not allow me to request that he do the surgery by himself without student assistance. As a result, my breasts ended up very different in size. Dr. Butterworth offered to even them out by reducing the other breast. I was very upset at this recommendation as it could have been avoided. I did not have the follow-up surgery.

The worst eye doctor I have ever experienced. I called to ask if I could get seen for a piece of metal in my eye. Best they could do was a week later. Not quick enough to deal with this issue, but I did schedule an appointment 2 months in advance for a regular eye exam. I arrived for my appointment and was told I am not in the system and not scheduled. They offered to see me later that day but it was a video call appointment and not covered by insurance. I decided to wait. After waiting over an hour I was told I wouldn’t be ... read more

I was a little hesitant about going there as I had read some negative reviews. However, my experience was absolutely wonderful, from the secretary that greeted me, to the young woman who did my pre-exam, and the doctor who actually did the formal exam, to the gentleman who worked to fit me with a pair of glasses. I could hardly believe that someone could have had such a negative experience to write s bad review. I thought, "Maybe they were writing about a different place and accidentally wrote it for MyEyeDoctor in Bartow. ... read more

Really bad place that is ripping off insurance companies for several hundred dollars for glasses frames that cost Penny's on the dollar! Why are insurance companies allowing money to be spent in this way.

Buyer beware: MyEyeDr on Central street in Evanston is as much a sales scam as it is an eye glass store. Let's start with the lies I was told. Larry, the man who sold me the glasses, told me I would get a 20% discount on my glasses. Nope. I got $35 off instead of the $170 I was expecting. How did I ever agree to that? That was the second lie. Larry told me he couldn't show me the invoice for the glasses until after I had paid. So I got suckered. Third lie. Larry said the "Plan" that I paid $29 for was an anti-scratch coating... read more

I would give no stars if I could... My husband, age 67, cannot drive due to a seizure disorder. He has to take senior services or local Medicare transportation for appointments during the day as I work. These services are not always completely reliable as to exact timing, and he was 7 minutes late to his appointment today. The MyEyeDr in Martinsburg, WV refused to honor his appointment and said he would have to reschedule. They were extremely rude and will not be getting any repeat business.
