I should’ve checked the low overall rating of this store, as well as some of my peers’ reviews, before I acted at all surprised at the low quality customer service and overall incompetency I experienced at a recent routine checkup. It feels unfair to the actual main doctors to leave a scathing review - once you’re in the back with them for the main appointment, it is good and courteous. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Had an eye exam on 12/29 and placed an order for new lenses using existing frames. 10 days later I called and was told that they would be in “any day”. Called a week later and was told there were “issues with the lab” but that they would definitely be in by 1/24. They’re not in, and there is no clear update on status. I called the store on my way to inform them that I will be a few minutes late, I was told that there is a strict 10 minutes grace period that I have to arrive within which I understand. I was extremely disappointed not to be seen after arriving within the grace period for my appointment after having that conversation earlier. As a physician myself, I find it extremely unprofessional and disrespectful, not to mention the lack of empathy to patients. I will not be returning to this store
Great customer service.
Very rude and seemingly discriminative environment. I canceled my appointment before even visiting because the person on the phone (assumingly the manager or doctor since the original person I spoke to transferred me without my knowledge) had a very argumentative and impudent tone. There are many eye doctors in the area, so I will go elsewhere.
