I came in for my regular eye exam and had a great experience - I came near the end of the day and they were a little behind but after being checked in I was brought back for the general check up. It took a bit to get the exam done but not the technicians fault. After I saw the Dr - Dr Ume (I believe) and she was wonderful - very personable and answered all my questions. Dr.Chowhan was super knowledgeable and gave me probably the most comprehensive eye exam I’ve ever gotten. This was my first time at this MyEyeDr location and I will absolutely be back and will recommend all my family and friends! Lazarus was super helpful as well when deciding between contacts or glasses. All around 5 star experience! Also honorable mention to Kaitlyn for making me feel calm about the air pressure exam!!
I should’ve checked the low overall rating of this store, as well as some of my peers’ reviews, before I acted at all surprised at the low quality customer service and overall incompetency I experienced at a recent routine checkup. It feels unfair to the actual main doctors to leave a scathing review - once you’re in the back with them for the main appointment, it is good and courteous. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Had an eye exam on 12/29 and placed an order for new lenses using existing frames. 10 days later I called and was told that they would be in “any day”. Called a week later and was told there were “issues with the lab” but that they would definitely be in by 1/24. They’re not in, and there is no clear update on status.
