As always, the staff at MyEyeDr in Mount Pleasant are consistently friendly, professional and patient answering questions. The front desk staff, the technicians, the office manager and Dr Majors are all outstanding!
I had a visit with MyEyeDr at long point mt pleasant . Tara Niewinski welcomed me in and i had the greatest experience ever at an eye dr visit. I ended up buying 2 pair of glasses and loved them. If you ever go here, request Tara. She is patient and knows her business.
I visited MyEyeDr for my annual exam and was seen by Dr. Emma Gohmann. During the appointment, we reviewed what I was told were my eye scans. I was stunned when Dr. Gohmann informed me that I had severe retinal hemorrhaging. When I mentioned I was nine weeks pregnant, she stated that I likely had pre-eclampsia and/or gestational diabetes. I was referred to Dr. Major from my ophthalmologist for a special contact lens due to a cornea transplant in my left eye. I was hesitant to put a contact in that eye as I was afraid that I might injure the transplant. So I definitely needed reassurance this is ok. The staff was very pleasant, but Dr. Major was very standoffish and may have said 3 words during our very brief appointment.
