I won't be returning. The front end of this practice lacks training as well as customer service skills. I came in for my annual eye exam which went well. When I asked about the difference in contact brands, I was offered a trial pair from a different company and two prescriptions were written by Dr. Kovak. I assumed I would wear the trial pair to see which I preferred and order my contacts based on that preference, but when I got to the counter they told me I owed $90 oop for the second prescription/fitting. I'm being generous. The reason this is getting even a 2 start rating is the Dr's and the Lab Manager are 5 star. HOWEVER, we have been going here for over 10 years and when MyEyeDR. bought them out they also evidently got rid of the ability to actually make the lenses. Ordering a pair of glasses is rather easy. Receiving the glasses seems to be where they get hung up. My daughter was going on over 3 weeks before she received her glasses. I had to call them multiple times to get any response. This is my first time using My Eye Dr. I have worn glasses since I was a child over 40 years. I switched due to us moving to Vernon Ct. I have had my glasses for a few months. I purchased scratch resistant lenses. Both lenses were scratched within the first month. I took them back and had them replaced. Now a month later another lens is scratched. I am careful and have never had issues with lenses being scratched before. I can usually stretch to two years before getting a new pair. Since I used the warranty already and their... read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Before "MyEyeDr" bought the practice, it was wonderful, and I've been a patient for many years. Now, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. After 2 eye exams and lenses being re-made three times, I still could not see with my new $484 (after insurance) glasses. I asked for a refund so I could get glasses somewhere else. The office never submitted a void claim form to my insurance so when I went to get my glasses, my benefits were unavailable to use. So not only did I have to pay... read more

I had an awesome experience at Vision One Total Eye Care Center in Port Orange. The Optometrist was friendly, helpful and very professional. Amy went above and beyond to help me pick out my perfect frames. She is the very best! I shall recommend Vision One to all my family and friends.

More stars deserved! I had a virtual appointment on yesterday. I was not sure how it was be. I was very impressed with the professionalism and the whole process. The front staff, technicians (Blake and Roxies) were awesome.! I felt that the virtual doctor surpassed. by expectations. My husband has a virtual appointment on next month. I went in for an eye exam. Was only there to get a new prescription for my contacts. I wear glasses, but was not going to replace the lenses at this time as I wear progressive lenses and they are expensive. I asked to have my glasses adjusted. The girl did and handed them back to me. I put them on and everything was foggy and blurry. I figured they were just dirty. I got to my car, took them off and examined the lenses. They had a ton of scratches all over both lenses. I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD!! I had an eye appointment that I scheduled on line. I received confirmation texts. I took time off work for my scheduled appointment. I arrived prior to my appointment and was told that because I did it on line the previous week someone else had already taken my time slot. Of course I had received the confirmation text the DAY BEFORE my appointment. No sympathy or apology from the woman working there. She acted like it was no big deal.
