Not sure why this location has low stars! I went for a walk-in appointment and the staff was so kind. My visit was with Dr. Buchanan, who was so knowledgeable and just very sweet. Ms. Diedre was so very patient and spent a significant amount of time helping me find glasses. I didn’t end up purchasing glasses during my visit, and they weren’t pushy at all like past offices I’ve been at.
10 out of 10 starting with the greeting to my examination of my eyes. The staff & Dr. Cerina Buchanan was excellent in explaining every detail to me concerning my eyes to the associate who assisted me in choosing my frame. I love this location because it's about a fifteen minute drive from my home & I can walk a few steps to Rita's, one of my favorite places for a cool treat.
I had a disappointing visit with Cerella Rainey today. While the appointment wasn’t rushed, she lacked compassion and made me feel uncomfortable. I forgot to mention my old brand of contacts at the start, and when I showed it to her on my phone, she got upset and told me I should’ve said it earlier. She was so mean about it, and her attitude felt unnecessarily harsh. A little patience and kindness would have made a big difference. I will not be back and would not recommend.
My doctor was amazing. Then I came to order my prescription lenses. Brought my frame. Told them I prefer if it’s sent to VSP1 lab because local labs are bad at cutting half frame lenses. I said they leave gaps. I waited 2 weeks and today came to pick up my glasses. (Their notification system doesn’t work as intended btw, you have to follow up personally.) there was a visible gap between the lenses and the frame just as I predicted. Super expensive lenses going to waste again. Wait another 2 weeks or more to have them made. J... read more
