Did he get stuff done? Yes he did. BUT...we were told it would cost around $3000 per kid for a step-parent adoption (so about $6000 for us). We were in court processes for a year and we spect $22,000! While in our last court appearance, we overheard other family lawyers talking and they said, "if anyone charges over $10,000 for a family law case, they are taking advantage of people."
