Short wait for my appointment, friendly front desk staff, and a very nice hygienist who didn't even hurt me while cleaning my teeth!

caring dentist – When I first went to this office I was scared to go in, its in a largely black neighborhood and I am white, however once I went inside the color of my skin did not matter, the staff and doctors were very nice they explained what they thought I need to have done and in what order they thought it should be done in, however when I explain the order and reasoning behind the way I wanted they were more than willing to work with me. Love this place – I have been seeing Dr. Kanion for over 16 years. I have never had a bad expierience there. He replaced a bridge that kept coming off . He has also given me six new crowns. SInce I have been having my teeth fixed since I was 18 years old (forty years ago) I can say that I am extremely pleased with his services. I have recommended him to all my friends and many of my friends already go there. I have never heard anything negative about him. Avoid completely – I waited over an hour for Dr. Kanion, then he told me he did not like to be rushed. ...Excuse me? I felt like he was afraid of catching something, as he kept leaving me alone without a word. I told him my broken tooth was infected, and he said no it wasn't. He told me he would fill it with a special compound and put a crown on it at the same time. He filled it & gave me a temp. crown for 7 days.
