They are dishonest . I used Them because AHS sent them. They replaced an air compressor inside my condenser with a rebuilt one. It makes a loud ringing noise when it cuts off like dozens of times per hour. Its unbearable ringing noise. They claim its fixed and they dont cover noises! No other unit makes this loud screeching and ringing noise I have ever heard. My unit never made this noise. I called multiple times and they would come out and say sorry it works. Ordered wrong parts twice and accepted payments from American Home Shield for doing absolutely nothing. Firs technical measured incorrectly and it took two week to get the "correct" unit in. ****** of service appointment the service manager called and said the "correct" unit would not fit inside the closet. They would have to modify the closet and the American Home Shield would not cover the cost. American Home Shield paid me $371.92 for an air handler unit that probably cost at least $800. This company is a joke they was sent out on second opinion.for my AC and heater they got my heater running they came back out on second opinion and charge me 300 dollars to clean my coils in which I wasn't told that anything was wrong the first time then the second time they put preconditions in which that was totally wrong.and I prove that my insurance at first was going to try to denie afterwards until I proved my case my insurance company end up going with another company.. Myers Comfort Specialists should never be used. They never returned our calls and never gave us any itemized estimates for any of the $*****+ “out-of-pocket “charges over and above America Home Shields payment that Myers claimed were necessary to replace our air handling unit. We have a policy with American Home Shield, but they did not even report all of the issues to them. Myers quoted me a price of $6750 for an Ameristar HVAC unit with an anticipated $1000 upgrade credit from AHS making my out of pocket to them $5750. Had three other HVAC companies come out with a quote of $5500-$5600 for same unit with no anticipated credit which means Myers tacked the $1000 credit AHS would have given me to their quote and would have walked away with my $1000 upgrade allowance in addition to an extra $150-$250 over the going price for the unit. They said nothing was wrong but the heater but it kept blowing cold air. Funny how a different company came out and identified the problem- that there was a problem. I have to question their knowledge of tech, plus lack of service and poor customer service by the lady that answers their phone. Any heater blowing cold air is in need of repair. Never ever use them again. Steer clear.
