Bought my Avalanche in 2011. Had it serviced a couple of times under warranty. One of those times, they convinced GM to pay them to replace the entire engine at only 70000km. After the warranty expired, I tried a couple more times. When my rear lift compressor died, they quoted $1200+. I got the OEM part for $350 and did it myself in two hours.
