These people are the scum of the earth just like all the other reviews suggest. When the tech left my house initially he said he would be back in two days to replace the part on my ac and I would pay the $75 service fee per my AHS contract. In 2 days they call me and say the entire inside unit needed replaced and the "uncovered charges" would be $880. I called and independent service company aI thought that woudnd they said that was entirely bogus and the part could be replaced in 15 or 20 minutes. I thought that would satis... read more

Just crying, after all we have been through just to get air fixed. All these negative reviews are more than accurate. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING. JUST HORRIBLE PEOPLE. I wish i had read these reviews first. DO NOT USE

Avoid at all costs!! Without a doubt, the worst, most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Like others here, I am a customer of American Home Shield and had a compressor failure on a 4 year old Trane system at my home. Myers was the choice of American Home Shield and came out to verify that the compressor was indeed blown. That was six (6) weeks ago and after (literally) hundreds of calls to both AHS and Myers, I still have no AC here in the middle of Summer. Try to avoid Myers AC/Heating company in Birmingham, AL. we bought a 23 yrs old house so, we decided to join American home shield for home insurance. Nov, 12, 2012 our heater didn't work so, I called American home shield. AHS sent " Myers Air conditioning Heating And Plumbing" to fix our heater. Our heater was almost 30 yrs old in that time and couldn't be fixed anymore. This company is terrible! I won't be using them again. My Home Warranty company assigned them to me when my airr went out at the beginning of Summer. They sent out multiple people, who each found a diiferent problem that required them to order different parts. I was withou air for over two weeks and they never answer their phone. Avoid them if possible!

avoid at all costs – Become good friends with the guys that come and fix your leak, because you'll be calling them to come back time and time again. Save your money as well, since they'll be expecting to be paid each time they come out and don't fix your problem. I've run the gamut with my plumbing problems. At first I had no water pressure. Very Disappointed – I called on Saturday and left a message for them to reach me on Monday morning as we have no air conditioning. By 9 a.m. I didn't receive a call so I called them and got their voice mail. Of course, their box is full so I can't leave another message. Here it is 12:36 and I called my home warranty people to cancel the service call and explained the reason for cancellation.
