I’m new to Redwood City and decided to try this salon. Unfortunately, I wasn’t happy with the results — the gel polish was applied all the way onto my cuticles, which made my nails look chunky and messy. The next day, several nails were rough and snagging, four had already chipped, and one nail’s gel polish had completely come off. I came back (less than 24 hours later) and the woman kindly redid them, but they still look messy, and I’m not confident they’ll last. I went here because they had good reviews, but my experience there was terrible. They booked too many back-to-back appointments so my manicure was very rushed. There was only one person working that day, so if they didn’t have the capacity, they shouldn’t have accepted the appointment. The work was incredibly sloppy. I wanted a nail design, but she insisted on stickers. The stickers didn’t even last one day (see photo).
