Great friendly service and a nice clean room with a neat kitchenette.
We were glad to find My Place our initial plan for the night fell through last minute. The room was nice and clean, and included a kitchenette which would have been more useful if we were staying more than one night. We opted to try a local restaurant for breakfast so I can't comment on this breakfast service here.
Bait and Switch. Our group of 4 adults booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. Each room should have had 1 Queen Bed. We booked directly with My Place Hotel with the following upgrades: 1 Queen Bed. 1 Recliner Chair. 3rd Floor Room. Complimentary Breakfast in Bed Before we arrived I called the hotel and spoke with the manager Amanda. She told me that our rooms were two full beds (instead of one queen bed), on the 2nd floor,(instead of the 3rd floor), there was no recliner in our rooms, and we would receive only one breakfast for one pe... read more
The room was dog friendly (with a fee per dog) and clean. It came with a full size fridge (that worked well), small stovetop and microwave..but no utensils, pans. Although I found a toaster in the cabinet and dish soap. I did cook dinner and breakfast. It also had an elevator and free coffee the next morning.
The employee's is what makes this hotel stand out as one of the best I stay at. They go out of their way to make your stay exceptional
