Excellent stay – outstanding service We had a wonderful stay at My Place Hotel in Beatrice, NE. David at check-in was absolutely phenomenal. He went above and beyond to welcome us, thoroughly explained the hotel, our room, and all of the amenities, and did so with genuine warmth and friendliness. His hospitality truly set the tone for our stay. The night staff was WONDERFUL!! And very accommodating!!! HOWEVER….. the morning staff was EXTREMELY rude and made several condescending comments under their breaths towards my husband and I.
Rooms are big clean which my family liked. The in room kitchen is useless unless you bring your own utensils, which most folks don't pack on vacation. There was nothing on the website that indicated this. We were planning on offsetting the cost by fixing breakfast in the room. I'm sure not all rooms are this way and I know mechanical issues happen but the ac didn't work in our room. Had it sit on 63 and we still were hot all night.
