They fit me in last minute, really great service. She took her time with my pedicure, and made me feel relaxed. Will be going back!
Im sorry, But you better be careful. This place literally destroyed my nails, they file so fast and into a rush that they did a whole on my nail bed, It took me 8 months to get rid of it. And I can keep going about this sad instalation. they destroyed my nails. I hope they understand better in the future, that is incorrect to treat nails like that.
I am so glad I didn't change my mind about visiting My Island Spa after reading these reviews. I purchased a voucher from Twoongo and THEN read the reviews. I must say I was very nervous about my upcoming visit. I called and they are OPEN in the same location. They were very polite over the phone. I went in to use a gift card I was given and was the only customer in the place, along with the husband/wife owners. My appt was with the wife who had to drive over from a salon across Morrisville Carpenter...so a five minute wait. She got there, was unfriendly, rough with my hands and did a crappy job. I have gel polish on the skin around my nails that she didn't bother cleaning up. I also had to point out a large lump at the tip of my thumb nail that she reluctantly filed down. Went to My Island Spa for manicure for myself and 16yo daughter. The Spa is not very clean and is disheveled. Half eaten, pitted cherries sat in an open napkin by the window. At one point an employee came out with huge basket of towels and proceeded to fold them in the middle of the salon. If you are going for spa treatment, the area for waxing is not enclosed, except by a sheet like curtain. The staff were pleasant to unfriendly.
