This is a beautiful homey little place! The ladies who work here are friendly and warm and greeted me with a chuckle and a "Welcome home" and let me tell you I definitely felt at home. The food was fantastic I ordered the fish special with cornbread and MY GOD. The cornbread had butter on it and was thick and fluffy spiced and perfect! Wow, what a great place. The staff were friendly, the other customers were friendly, the guy walking down the street that smelled ribs smoking and stuck his head in the door was friendly. Had chicken and waffles, delicious, reminded me of the years I lived in South Carolina. Will come back with my kids next time.
Very, very good place to eat. Perfect if you need the second best thing to a home cooked meal. The staff was very friendly. The hot link chilli dog hit the spot.
I went here ten years ago and I still think about it.
