For Contractors, prior to bringing a flipped home to market. If your Not going to have a pre-inspection done, do yourself a favor and at least lookup the minimum standards for a Home Inspection for the state of Va. or whatever state the flipped home is at. Their you will find roughly 800 some items that are to be inspected. They are very precise and free of charge to you. Just Saying!
Greg inspected 2 houses for me, as I was considering buying a house in the area. He was extremely thorough with his step by step slideshow report where he explained each picture he took. He saved us from buying and getting stuck with one and then another potentially problematic houses that could have gutted us financially. We are very grateful to him for his excellent work, and would highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a home inspector.
Showed up to do a home inspection days before he was supposed to be there, while work was being done. Took pictures and then used those pictures days later for a home inspection report where the work was completed. He put a radon test Upstairs, which is NOT where they go. He said he used a ladder and binoculars to do a roof inspection and never had a ladder or binoculars with him. Poor pictures to back up his “claims”. Put in the report not to go to closing.
