Our move went very well. The guys arrived with our things and worked diligently until late into the night. They were cheerful and helpful the entire time. Johnny even gave them a call on Sunday to be sure they were arriving home safely. Also we'd like to convey our thanks to their supervisor. I can imagine that all of you get plenty of complaints from unpleasant folks so we'd like to add some cheer!
I called this company for a moving quote. They said they are licensed and insured. As I was calling around a couple companies told me to check with DMV (866-truck va) to see if they are listed and authorized to move my house furniture. Well they where not listed. Sorry I am not calling them to move my stuff. If they lied to me about licensing who knows what else they are doing right.Just want to let you know.
Two Guys and A Truck was the best mover that I ever had. The 3 guys that came to my house were on time and had all the supplies that were requested. I moved yesterday for the 6th time in 8 years. I have used large and small companies to move me in the past. This time I decided I wanted to use a local company, and I am absolutely pleased that I did. From the initial phone call to the end of my move I couldn't be happier. A very unprofessional group! The two guys knew nothing about moving furniture. They scratched an antique desk by resting it on a its stretcher on a concrete step to take a door off it's hinges instead of moving six inches to set it on its feet. This was even after being told they needed to remove the door first. One only spoke very broken English and one didn't speak English at all so it was near impossible to communicate.
