RecommendedI recently needed a lot of work done on my car and was really apprehensive about finding a mechanic here in Clemson that I could trust. Lester was so kind and helpful, he showed me all of the problems with my jeep and explained them all to me so that I knew the severity of the issues. He was so understanding, respectful and made the process a lot less stressful. I would recommend him to anyone!
Shout out to My Garage Team for the wonderful personal service on my Boxster this morning. With no appointment and on this very stormy morning, they graciously made time for me and removed and replaced a front headlamp and several bulbs that were out. I waited comfortably inside the lobby and was entertained by reading some super car magazines and enjoyed some interesting conversation while the work was being done. I will be the first to admit that I do not know much about cars- when arriving at My Garrage by Essex, all I could tell the mechanics was that my car was making a funny noise and that I’d recently gotten it fixed for something similar. I was so happy that I went to this mechanic shop!! These guys rock! Took truck in for electrical problems, and within a day, found the issue. Also found another issue and addressed it with me before going and working on it. He gave me exact day, and price quote, that it would be completed. Was done when he said, and price quote he gave me, ended up being lower than what he said! You guys have a new customer for life! Thank you!
Do not go here. They will charge you $200 to put in a battery. And insult you by saying you are unemployable if youre pursuing a Phd.

Traveling from Delaware to Georgia, a oil light came on that needed direct attention. I drove into their place and they took care of me right away! A local business with friendly owners and employees. What a life saver!!
