My Friend's Deli & Restaurant is not for my friends or family I don't know how in today's economy that any restaurant can afford to be so rude and inhospitable. I have been a regular patron at My Friends for the past 5 years, and I will never go there again. From the time I walked in I was un-welcomed by the greeter. Then when I asked to be seated near an electrical outlet, I received more negative feedback. Good food, great prices I have eaten here many times and they have never disappointed me. The food is always good and the service is nice. My only complaint is that sometimes it seems as if it is not as clean as it could be and I can tell that some of the dishes are processed foods instead of cooked by the chef. But for the price and convenience, I would recommened this restauraunt.
Good food here My Friend's Deli and Restaurant is located on W. 117th and Detroit avenue where Cleveland and Lakewood meet. They are open 24 hours and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a kids menu and their prices are average. There is a parking lot at the side of the building and in the back. where is the best sever at.... I am a regular custmore to My Friends Every weekend a group of friends and I go there to hang out and there was only one sever that has ever treat us with respect Brenda where is she ??? The host up there she was fired... Well she was the best out any other server there she never degrated us because of or color. Dinner and A movie I come to my friends every weekend with the guys after we go bar hopin and we sit in the back of the restaurant where you can see the cook line and the severs area and this cook had me laughing at first he was bangin his hands on the window ledge and screaming at these severs like they where a piece of s*** tellin them there worthless and that they would be fired It was like a dinner and a movie until I seen the one sever cryin even though she didnt wait on us I felt bad.. treated unfairly while eating and looking for employment They don't hire to many black people. I don't think they like black people. They do just enough to get by. Food is awful! So if you're black, watch the way the treat you and you'll see what I mean. Be fair that's all you have to do!
Not our favorite place (becaue of parking) My Friend's Deli & Restaurant has been around for a long time. It is located close to the Lakewood border on Detroit Avenue. Like most of the places in Lakewood - parking stinks. You can park behind it but best to park on the street I believe. One nice thing about this place is how it's open 24 hours a day. Deli This is a great spot to stop for a lunch or a take out sandwich. Their menu has a lot of choices and is very reasonable. This is a good place to meet friends or to take the whole family.
