I’m very happy with this Podiatry practice. I’ve seen Josh twice. He has a pleasant manner. All of the usual background matters were discussed. But the education went well beyond that. So far, I’ve received practical advice about the impacts of diabetes on the feet, foot care and foot safety, appropriate footwear, exercise for the feet, general exercise and its impacts on the feet, diet as it pertains to the feet. I have chronic, complex foot issues and last year, was given for the first time ever, a soft orthotic, which was thick under the ball of my foot and therefore very hot!! Totally unsuitable for Queensland's heat. This orthotic was provided even though my previous records were available. More importantly, the same soft, hot orthotic collapsed very quickly, giving me next to nothing in support. It would have been cheaper to have picked up an orthotic from the local chemist. I saw the podiatrist Denholm Smith and found him friendly, extremely professional and thorough. He was very knowledgeable and was willing to explore all possibilities to fix my foot problems. I traveled from the Sunshine Coast just to see him as I had heard he was really good. I have recommended other people to go and see him at the My Foot Dr practice in North Lakes and they have also had great success fixing their feet. The practice itself is clean the staff are friendly and service was efficient.
