Utterly incompetent. Single point of failure for everything. We purchased frames and lenses for our daughter. Purchased the lens insurance. Called to get replacement lenses after the originals became scratched and was told 2 weeks. At the end of 2 weeks we call and were told only the manager can get the status of the order, but she's not in. Finally get a hold of the manager and find out the lense order was never sent in. Walked in 40 mins to closing, receptionists socializing with each other clearly wasn’t trying to help me find prescription sunglasses. When I eventually asked for help their answer was “oh we’re about to close, come back tomorrow”. I’m not trying to get in your way of going home but if you’d just helped answer my questions I’d be able to leave your store. Nobody comes to an optometrist for fun on a weeknight… Next day I tried calling ALL day from 10-4. Never got thru… what people do here?
More than a month and no lenses, when I was told that it would take two weeks. Staff tend to be flippant when I call to inquire about the status of my order. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
It has been 9 weeks since I had my visit and I still have not received my glasses. Insurance was billed to a wrong person and it took a few visits to have it corrected. The store staff do not answer calls, are not friendly and do not take any responsibilities. It’s absolutely absurd how a large chain can be ran this way.
There seems to be serious ongoing management problems with this store — more than five weeks after the initial glasses order, still haven’t received the glasses yet. Even worse, the manager is unreachable — neither returning phone calls as promised nor taking the call with customer placed on-hold (was put on hold for 2.5 hours and ended up driving to the store only to find the manager chatting with other employees with no other customers waiting in the store).
